XP and Leveling

I’m doing leveling and experience points differently than normal. Leveling will be separate from XP. Everyone in the party will level up at when the DM deems, regardless of xp.

You will still acquire XP through the course of adventuring. You can then spend the XP on all things in the game rules that usually require XP such as crafting and spellcasting as well as to gain other special character and in-game bonuses. At certain times during the game you will have the opportunity to purchase templates, spell-like and special abilities, in-game power and other things using your accumulated XP. You can also use the XP to buy-off racial level adjustments. Think of XP basically as a meta-game currency. If there is something special you want for your character you can’t get through regular leveling you may be able to spend XP to purchase it.

You will gain XP through good role-playing, completing story lines, over-coming challenges, and contributing to the game/this wiki. You won’t be getting the normal xp you would get just for killing monsters.
